Impressive review

Ashwell Vineyards received another impressive review from The Gourmet Wine Traveller - this time for our 2009 Pinot Noir in the December/January edition. Gourmet Wine Traveller describe it as a fine boned pinot noir with purity and energy. Ripe cherry and black doris plum flavours with a suggestion of violets and a seasoning of spicy oak. Impressive wine with good cellaring promise. 92/100 4 Stars.

Hope you've got some in your cellar! Contact us if you don't.

A Polar Blast

This week we’ve been hit by some unusually cold weather conditions. Snow is fairly uncommon on the Martinborough terraces, even in the  middle of winter. But this week, our vineyard was turned into a real winter wonderland (complete with snowman). Snow doesn’t cause any  issues for the vines at this time of year, all that resulted was a beautiful sight.
